EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 2-4 years experience as Clinical Research Associate required, especially experience in the performance of human subject clinical trials. Experience in interaction with nurses and physicians required.

Innovative growing medical device industry is seeking a Clinical Research Associate to be based in the corporate bayarea company. A flexible schedule that requires 50% travel to clinical trail sites and medical conferences as needed is key. This position reports directly to the Chief Medical Officer and includes interaction with company professionals as needed. A CRA who is a team player comfortable interacting with physicians and nursing research staff yet works well alone will thrive and have opportunities to advance in this fantastic organization.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Set up, evaluate potential clinical trail sites

*Maintain close communications with research nursing staff and physicians at trail site. Including direct interaction via travel with trail site personnel.

* Learn set-up, use, and maintenance of the companys medical devices, and learn the performance of medical outpatient procedures.

* Train trial site personnel in the set-up, use and maintenance of the companys medical devices and the performance of procedures, and in the recording and maintenance of trial data, forms, and logs. Assist in the creation and modifying of data performance.

* Manage the collection, correction, and completion of all data from all clinical sites within the time frames set forth by the trial protocols and/or the company and/or government regulatory bodies.

* Assist in the creation, submission, and modification of I.R.B. applications.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Science in biology, nursing, medical technology or related medical/public health field required.

National coding certification or eligibility required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills necessary. 1-3 years office coding experience required - urology experience preferred. Proficient level of Microsoft Office Suite required. Ability to effectively plan, organize and complete assignments on time. Some travel may be required, Coding seminars (up to 3 days duration) and Annual Meeting (up to 8 days duration).
